Teaming up with Jane’s Walk, we’ll be touring East Village community gardens learning about activism, sustainability, and how the community reclaimed these abandoned spaces and made these wonderful vibrant community gardens, which then became urban green, community-run sustainable places. Organic food growing, medicinal gardens, solar and wind energy, permaculture, and composting.
