From its foundation ten years ago, when volunteers from Time’s Up environmental organization helped start the museum, the Museum of Reclaimed Urban Space has worked to preserve the history of grassroots activism. In addition to hosting workshops, collaborating with schools and colleges, and working with other museums, MoRUS has inspired a younger generation to create a new revolution of reclaiming their history and recreating their public urban space in a more sustainable, community-oriented way.
Join us to celebrate, dance, support, and dream to 10 more years of community direct action, 5pm – 9pm at Nublu nightclub.
We are so honored to be joined by DJ Dany Johnson, former resident DJ at Club 57, and Pinc Louds who will be providing music for our party!
